December 2010 HERO BX Newsletter ![]()
As we prepare to close the year and the holidays draw nearer, our thoughts are drawn to our families and community. We anticipate the time we will spend together with our families and also give thought to what our community requires. Family and community were fundamental in the creation of HERO BX. Having manufacturing jobs in our community, like those at HERO BX, means that families can be paid sustaining wages, it means that with a strong base of manufacturing - our community can thrive, and that auxiliary jobs can be created in the form of suppliers, service professionals, and researchers. To say all this, it may sound simplistic; however, to achieve it - is much harder.

Prior to the start of construction of HERO BX (HBX) in 2006, there was a large focus on implementation of a stringent quality control system throughout its inputs, production and finished products. At the center of the predesigned quality control system are BQ-9000 guidelines and a full scale ASTM D6751 and EN 14214 laboratory.
Employees at HERO BX offer such expertise, enthusiasm, and experience. The "Three E's", as we like to call them, are woven into the everyday charisma of the working environment at HERO BX. We believe that never before has the industry seen such technical expertise that offers such positive solution problem solving techniques administered via a strong leadership team. This formula is translated into enthusiasm for the job which is then instilled in the mindset of our fellow colleagues. Finally, the experiences are invaluable and allow us to be able to continue to pull on processes to capitalize on the efficiency of the plant to run on multiple feedstocks. These "Three E's" offer a workplace filled with passion for hard work, an atmosphere for intellectual growth, and character development!
